Dorset-Bound
Happy bank holiday, guys and gals!
We hope you've had an absolutely amazing summer so far... with the end of August firmly in sight, we'd like to thank everyone who has booked us to be their wedding band this summer. We've had an absolute blast and are looking forward to the next few months of awesome autumnal events... if this summer's anything to go by, we're in for a treat!
Although we're based in Brighton, we'll pretty much go anywhere! And we recently packed our bags and headed West to the beautiful county of Dorset, and more specifically to the very picturesque Shell Bay, at the very tip of Studland Peninsula and it was certainly worth the journey... just check out the view!

The lovely couple were tying the knot in Shell Bay Restaurant, a fab seafood restaurant right on the waterfront and after a long drive, there was only one thing that would suffice...

Complimentary fish n chips and beer = one happy band.
The audience were fantastic and danced their absolute socks off... the dance floor wasn't empty for a second, from the first song right to the last.

That's what we like to see! And to top it off the Bride and Groom were lovely (and chose an awesome first dance in Sam Cooke's 'You send me.' Haven't heard it? Go listen!)

All in all, a great wedding and a great gig. That is.... until our van broke down. Now as musicians, we don't pretend to know what we're doing when it comes to the mechanics of a van, but nonetheless, we valiantly crawled underneath to have a look anyway!

Eventually we were able to get it started, which made for a late night, but certainly didn't dampen the brilliant gig - we won't forget this one in a hurry, that's for sure!
Until next time..
The Revival.
